Grant in Action
The Vanderburgh Community Foundation has identified family self-sufficiency as a primary
challenge facing the county through the Lilly Endowment GIFT VII Planning Grants.
This convening led to the creation of the Paving Access
to Hope and Success (PATHS) program providing services like individualized goal planning, identification of resources,
and referrals to other supportive services.
Financial support has been developed for the planning and implementation phases of the PATHS program through 2024.
To date, the Vanderburgh Community Foundation has dedicated $302,234 in grant funding and helped secure an additional $240,000 from the COVID-19 Crisis Response Fund of the Greater Evansville Region.
